Annelein Beukenkamp is an award winning watercolorist and Signature Member of the Vermont Watercolor Society, who has always enjoyed art and the creative process. Her childhood, which was spent in the Netherlands, inspired a true love and appreciation for flowers, many varieties of which are now depicted in her works.
Other subject matter includes still lifes of edibles and the figure and portrait. Her work has been featured in a National Seafood Catalog, Brooks Pharmacy's corporate calendar, Garden Tour posters, the Flynn Center's Fine Wine and Food Festival print media, Fletcher Allen Hospital's a "Celebration of Excellence" calendar and appeared on the cover of the Burlington Free Press Dining Guide. She is represented by Applejack Art Partners in their licensing division. Some of the items currently under licensing contracts are bookmarks, doormats, flags, gift bags, puzzles, fabric, tiles and more. Her work can be seen in various venues across the state, including Furchgott and Sourdiffe Gallery, Shelburne, Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery, Stowe, the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, Frog Hollow State Craft Center, Burlington and several yearly juried shows.  White Lily The juried shows have included, Art's Alive, Reflections on Basin Harbor, Stratton Arts Festival, Vermont Watercolor Society, The New England Watercolor Society, Richeson 75, Impressions of New England at the Bennington Center for the Arts, solo and juried exhibitions at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Envisioned in a Pastoral Setting, Shelburne Farms and Art in the Round Barn. Her watercolors are in private and corporate collections worldwide.Her painting "White Lily" was a 2006 Easter Seal. |
